with William Bloom and John Arnold
For beginners and experienced meditators.
Champoluc and Monterosa Mountains, Valley D’Ayas, Aosta, Italy.
Sunday 16th to Sunday 23rd September 2018.
This inspiring and revitalising week-long retreat takes place in one of the most beautiful mountain valleys in Europe. We will meditate, walk and talk together. The Valley D’Ayas in North West Italy opens up to the extensive Monterosa Mountains, which includes eighteen peaks over 4000 metres. Our venue, Refuge Vieux Crest 1938 metres, is stunningly beautiful and embedded in nature. This will be our home for the week. It is a wonderful location existing on the tree line with forests below and open moorland, peaks and glaciers above. Read more about the Refuge Vieux Crest here
The Refuge is overlooked by many 4000 metre peaks of the Monterosa mountain range.
Our week will be a balance of group meditation, time alone, walking and meaningful conversation. William will take everyone through the core skills of meditation: centering, breath, compassionate and witnessing. He will explain the physiology and psychology of the health benefits.
